What is a fanlisting?

A fanlisting is simply put, an online list of fans for a certain subject. It's easy to join; all you need is a name, email address, and country. Your email isn't given out to third-parties and is needed only for database purposes. Most times, the only time you'll hear from the fanlisting owner is when the fanlisting has moved, being adopted out, or closed. There's no reason not to join!

What is National Coming Out Day?

This holiday is a day when closeted lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgenders can come out to their family, friends, and other loved ones. The day was made in honor of when half a million people marched in Washington DC for gay and lesbian equality on October 11, 1987. National Coming Out Day occurs every October 11th, but that doesn't mean you can only come out on this day, of course. ;) For more information, see the Human Rights Campaign Official Site.
